Im a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world...

So lately in fashion, Barbie has been making a huge comeback. Not that the icon has truly ever left the scene, but now she's back more than ever. From high end to low end, Barbie collections can be found on the market.

During Milan fashion week, Moschino, Jeremy Scott (one of my faves forever) debuted his "Think Pink" Barbie inspired collection. The 2015 spring collection included Barbie swimsuits, dresses, fabulous tops and skirts. Heres a look at a few of my favorite looks from the collection.

All pieces in the collection are available to rent, ranging from $60 to $350!!! Will you be renting?

Forever 21 also debuted a Barbie collection in early September. The collection included several "Barbie" logo tees and sweaters, as well as mirrors and bags with Barbies image. Although I do love Barbie, I was not too impressed with the styles in this collection and only ended up with one pj set :(

 I love that Barbie is coming back in. I mean come on...who doesn't love blonde hair, a cat eye and everything pink!?

Okay...so its been almost three years since I initially started this blog. But guess what? I'm back! I cant wait to show you all the fashion pieces and designers I love, as well as some of my own work on this blog. This blog is to connect with other fashionistas across the country and world! Any one who knows me well knows that I love to connect and collaborate with others. I love deep intellectual conversations and I cant wait to learn what fashion styles others appreciate.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Its October...and we all know what that means... its breast cancer awareness month!

I designed this pink dress for the Young Survivors Coalition, an organization that promotes awareness of breast cancer in women under the age of 40.



Thanks to my beautiful model Jackie Craig...who rocked the runway in this fabulous dress!

Detroit Fashion Week 2011

Hey everyone! This is my first post so I figured I should start out with a bang!
